If your Phone have the physical Home button: – Power of the device, after that Press Volume UP+Home+Power button at a time until the phones logo screen is displayed. When the phone’s logo screen is displayed, release the Power button but continue holding the Volume + home button until the Android System Recovery menu is displayed.

Phone Without Physical Home button :- Power off the device, press and hold the Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons together until the green Android icon pops-up on the screen.

With this way you can enter in to the recovery mode of your android device. Now select the wipe data/factory reset option. Moving the selection up and down is done with the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons. Once you have the wipe data/factory reset option highlighted, you select it by touching the Home button or Power Button (Depend on the device).


 
This process will take some time after that select reboot system now. That’s it now you done. You phone will now reboot back into normal mode.

2. Copy the downloaded CWM.zip and update.zip into root of internal SD storage in Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070.
3. Once the transfer completed, disconnect USB from computer and turn off your device.
4. Now, press and hold Volume Up, Home and Power buttons to enter Stock Recovery Mode.
5. Navigate with your Volume up and down button and select apply update from external storage.
6. Locate the CWM.zip in the internal SD storage.
7. Press the Power button to confirm.
8. While the program is running, keep pressing the home button and touch the screen till CWM 5.1.2.8 appears.
9. From the main menu in Recovery, select the install zip from sdcard, then select choose zip from internal sdcard, browse to folder location and select the update.zip and click Yes to install.
10. Once the flashing is complete, your Galaxy S Advance shall have ClockWorkMod 6.0.1.5 installed.

III. How to Root and Install CWM Recovery on Nexus 7 Running On Android 4.2.2

1. Download Fastboot file and extract it to android-sdk-windows\platform-tools directory on your computer. "Note- This folder will be available only if you have installed Android SDK. If this folder is not available then you need to create this directory."
2. Now download ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.2.3 file and copy it to android-sdk-windows\platform-tools directory on your computer as well.
3. Now download Superuser and copy it in the root folder of your SD card on your phone. Make sure you copy this file in the root folder on your SD card.
4. Now switch off your phone and move into Fastboot Mode.
5. Boot your phone into Fastboot mode by pressing and holding Volume Up+Power buttons together until Fastboot Menu screens turns up.
6. Now go into the android-sdk-windows\platform-tools directory on your computer and Open Command prompt.To Open Command Prompt, press and hold Right-Shift button and right click in the empty space on the screen and select Open Command Prompt here.
7. Now in the command prompt, type the following command and press enter:“fastboot flash recovery CWM-grouper-recovery.img”
8. Once this is done, choose RECOVERY from the Fastboot Menu and enter into Recovery Mode.
9. Now in the Recovery mode, select “Flash zip from SD card” and then select “Choose zip from sdcard” .
10. Note- In the Recovery Mode, use Volume keys to navigate and Power button to select.
11. Now navigate to the “UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.04.zip” file that you copied to your SD card in step 3.
12. The installation will start and will take some time to complete.

13. Now in the recovery mode, select “+++Go back+++” and then reboot your device by selecting “Reboot system now“.

Astro is highly recommended as a file explorer for Android as it allows the user to backup their installed applications on the memory card as an APK file which allows them to restore their applications in case your phone malfunctions or crashes.

II. How to Transfer Apps Between Android Mobiles Via Bluetooth

• Download and install Astro onto your Android phone.
• Open the Astro application. The main screen opens with a search bar on the top and three tabs underneath – locations, searches and recents.

• Navigate to “Tools -> Application Manager”.

• In the Application Manager window, Navigate to the Installed Apps tab and select the application you want to transfer via Bluetooth. Press on the “Backup” button that appears.

• The application should now be highlighted bright blue and also found in the Backed Up Apps tab. Exit out of Astro.

• Download and Install Bluetooth File Transfer app onto your Android phone.
• Open the Bluetooth File Transfer app, Navigate to the following folder “/mnt/sdcard/backups/” and select the file (with extension .apk) you want to transfer. In our case, we would find “ES File Explorer” in this location. Once the file is ticked, press the Bluetooth button.

 

• The android phone should be listed under “Found Devices” or “Cache”. Click the relevant android and send the file. Once the other user receives the file, he/she will then be able to install it onto their android.

III. Install Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM:
1. Extract Firmware zip file and you will get a .tar file and some other files.
2. Extract Odin zip file and you will get Odin3 v3.07.exe along with few other files.
3. Switch off your Galaxy S2
4. Now, put the Galaxy S2 in Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Up key and Power button.
5. Then, a warning message appears, press the Volume Down key to continue.
6. Now run Odin3 v3.07.exe as an Administrator because Admin privileges is required to complete the process smoothly.
7. Now connect your Galaxy S2 with your PC using USB cable.
8. Then a message will arrive under Odin’s message box in the bottom left saying “Added!!”
9. Select these files in Odin at respective tabs from extracted firmware folder:

• Click the PDA Button, and select the .tar file here with *code* appearing in its name
• Click the Phone Button, and select file with *modem* in its name (leave if there is no such file)
• Click the CSC Button, and select file with *csc* in its name (leave if there is no such file)
• Click the PIT Button, and select the .pit file. Use only if you got it while extracting in step 1 above, otherwise ignore it.

10. In Odin window, make sure Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes are selected. Also, make sure that Re-Partition checkbox is selected, only if you are using a .pit file.
11. Double check everything that we mentioned in Step 9 & Step 10 above. Now, once satisfied hit the START button to begin the flashing process.
12.    Once flashing completed, you will see a PASS message with green background in the left-most box at the very top of the Odin. The tablet will then automatically rebooted and soon you will see the Samsung logo. You can then unplug the USB cable to disconnect your device from computer.
